The Vols have hit the recruiting trail hard this past week sending out offers to many prospects across the nation.

In basketball, Coach Martin has added another commit and signee to the 2011 class with the addition of Junior College PF (6'8" 240) Dwight Miller. The junior college signee is originally from the Bahamas.

Linebacker coach Peter Sirmon stopped by Nashville McGavock HS this past Monday to watch defensive end Caleb Azubike,and coming back with high praise. Azubike added: "He thought I looked great,and said they will offer at camp." He also had 6 tackles,two sacks, and a forced fumble in his spring game.

Coach Terry Joseph stopped by Reserve,Louisiana this past week to see defensive tackle Gerron Borne. Borne enjoyed the visit and made it clear the Vols are the big leaders. Borne has also added offers from Arizona, ULL, and Minnesota.

The Vols have offerd Buford (Ga) Tight End Kurt Freitag. He has offers from many SEC and ACC schools.

Coach Eric Russell visited Savannah (Ga) this past week to see defensive tackle DeAngelo Brown. Brown said this about the Vols: " I think they have a great athletic program."

Tennessee has made the top 16 for Georgia defensive tackle Jordan Watkins. His offer list was cut down from 35 offers.

St. Piux X defensive back has made his top five. The list has the Vols included and will visit Knoxville this sumer before making a decision before the season.

Denver, Colorado quarterback Cyler Miles has announced his announment date. He has Tennessee included in hopes of seeing Knoxville before June 3rd.

North Carolina linebacker Nick Dawson has put Tennessee in his top five. He has to a top of board for the coaches.

Tennessee has offered a top running back in the state of Georgia for the '13 class in Keyante Green. They also offerd 2012 defensive end Issac Rochell.

The summer is about to begin,and many prospects will flock to Knoxville to show their talent in hopes of gaining the coaches notice.
