With the recruiting trails heating up, Tennessee coaches have not swayed a commit since back in late February with Imani Cross. With that said, many Vols target have decided to wait until the latter part of the recruiting process to choose their destination.

Clemson became the first two to try to sway the package deal duo of Will Redmond and Brian Kimbrow from East H.S. in Memphis. Clemson offered late last week.

Linebackers coach Peter Sirmon recently took a trip up to Powers Catholic High School (MI) to see the Vols number one defensvie tackle priority Danny O'Brien. O'Brien said the visit was great,and the Vols are still currently his early favorite.

Two Vols targets from Akron, Ohio safety Jarrod Wilson and receiver Corey Smith are no longer considered a package deal. Both plan to commit next week. Tennessee is in the final five of Smith's.

Teneesse hit the road up to South Carolina today to check on '12 WR Quinshad Davis and '13 DL Jaylin Miller.

Vols coaches where in Savannah (GA) to visit DT DeAngelo Brown today.

Vols Junior College receiver target from Hutchinson C.C. (Ks) said he was high on Tennessee with a possible commit down the road.

McGavock (TN) defensive end Caleb Azubike recently receieved a Kentucky offer.

Marshall, Duke, Carson Newman, and Louisville have recently checked in on the Nashville star. Tennessee and Northwestern will visit him next week with hopes of a possible offer.

Ensworth (TN) receiver Cory Batey has received an offer from the Arkansas State Red Wolves. He is gaining heavy interest from Arkansas and South Carolina.

Tennessee has offered Georgia '13 LB Trey Johnson. He has many notable offers.

The Vols took a trip up to North Carolina to visit and offer offensive lineman Mark Harrell

Warren Central HS (IN) DT Tyrone Pearson will camp with Tennessee this summer, and told me "I love Tennessee."

Tennessee coaches are still hitting the road hard in hopes to land that big second commit.
